"Toei Animation had commissioned a 12-country survey to understand the market landscape for animated contents and conduct a deep-dive specifically for Dragon Ball. All 12 countries were commissioned at once, and with a request that the results for each question be charted, manual charting did not seem like a viable option (nor did a dashboard), as we were looking at approximately 100 slides per country. Therefore, we had asked the Automation Team to help us set up an automated deck to facilitate the charting process.

This was one of the first projects for BHT Japan to get assistance from the Automation Team, so it took a while to familiarize ourselves with what was possible with automation and what kind of instructions were needed (they were a lot more detailed and specific than we had anticipated), but the Automation Team was very helpful in providing support throughout the whole process. The outputs were relatively well-made, and the mistakes that were found were corrected very quickly by the PM.

In the end, the client requested additional charting by age/gender segments (total of 48 decks!) so we were very lucky that we had set up the automation for the initial decks, as we only had to modify the charting instructions to generate the additional decks. The Automation Team was able to process the charts quickly and the client was impressed with the relatively quick turnaround for delivery."

"BHT SG Team was commissioned the Mastercard tracker that spans across 14 markets.  The incumbent of this tracker was Kantar, and we won this study towards Q3/4 of 2023, with the tracker starting from Jan'24. 

The first round of H1'24 report was done manually as CS has just joined in May, giving little time for set up on automation which caused a lot of late nights from manual charting and checking of data as reports were due across Aug to Sept 2024. Once the H1'24 reports were over, CS was determined to prepare work faster and more efficiently, thus, turning to automation team for automation support of PPT reporting. 

Although 1 time sum for set up was substantial, along with the "pain" of setting up the charting instructions and being as precise, down to table details - automation has proven to be more efficient and time taken from CS side reduced significantly."

"BHT team was commissioned with a multi-country tracker by Grab covering 5 countries and 2 categories back in Dec 2022. Client has given a strict timeline of 2 weeks post fieldwork to submit the report in which the standard timeline for BHT report delivery has always been 4-5 weeks post fieldwork. Apart from the PPT regional report, we also require to deliver a few KPI reports in EXCEL, namely BCP (Brand Category Position - client's internal KPI) which require manual calculation down to respondent level data. It will be almost impossible to meet the delivery timeline set by the client.  

To cater to the client's needs and the delivery timeline, we engaged with the automation team to set up a template which can efficiently process and run the data without going through the pain of manual tabulation/calculation. As a result, the team was able to meet client’s timing, developed a strong partnership and has successfully renewed the trackers for another two years. "
